HORSES
I have never been very good with horse anatomy-- they always some how came out looking like dogs! However, I think these are pretty decent, but I'll let Anna Rettberg (the best horse drawer in the world) be judge. ;)

New Style For Caricatures
Bark Point Studio has been draining lately with Christmas so close. I need to be drawing about 8-10 animals a day to stay on track! Today I decided to make it more exciting to change up my style slightly. I am incorporated some aspects from my original 300 caricatures or so into my more recent ones. I like the results so far!

Where is Ray, Pages 3-4 and Title Page Spot
I am working on a book with someone who plans on self-publishing. I am not sure what the outcome will be but for now its a good opportunity for me to work on some portfolio pieces. So far I've completed the Cover (over 6 months ago now...), a spot for the Title Page, and first spread.

Roscoe-Roo, The Fable
I have some funny ideas for my Little Roscoe-Roo. He has a beard and crazy eyebrow hairs, I just feel like he was some sort of wizard in another life....

Summer 2013/Fall 2013
It has been a long time. I have been very stuck in my ways as of late-- I have been working 5 days a week as Bark Point Studio. Mostly drawings Dog Caricatures, but I recently added Pet Graphics, which are line drawings of a pet's face, this has made things a bit more exciting for me lately, but still my life seems tedious. I do still want so badly to do a children's book....
Anyways, here are some things I've done that are noteworthy, because to post all the caricatures I've done would be an insane thing to do.

The Art & Adoption Show
This past weekend was The Art & Adoption show. I had a great time, sold a few pieces and helped promote some homeless pets in NYC. This was my first time showing work in a gallery setting and I couldn't be happier that it was accompanied by kittens and pups needing homes!

It has been awhile...
I have not updated in a very long time! Some how it has just slipped my mind.. I have been really busy with my work through Bark Point Studio. For awhile I was searching for another job, trying to work on my children's book portfolio and applying for agents.. but I have put that all aside and decided to just work on what I am good at, which is animals and philanthropy.
My business has been growing and I hope it continues to take me to new places, I was asked to be a judge and sponsor for American Dog Magazine's annual contest. My logo will be in their summer issue and I am super excited about that! I was also e-mailed by Pet World Insider to be interviewed on their radio show. I hope that works out because that would be amazing... I may not be exactly where I thought I'd be a year out of college but I am certainly much closer to having an Animal Rescue than I would have been if I had been doing what I thought I'd be doing. So I think I'm going to be okay. :)
My New Logo
T-Shirt Design
Latest Logo I designed
Another Logo
Postcard that I brought to ASTRA 2013
Pookie's Story- I wanted to do another piece about Puppy Mills.
Some great pictures some of my clients have sent me!
