Sketch Dailies

I have been wanting to get into these Sketch_Dailies for a while.. But I was waiting for an assignment that spoke to me. Caipora is an awesome Brazilian myth about a man who protects the forrest from hunters and rides peccaries! Love it. I was pleased with it until I was almost done.. I am not pleased with it anymore... I may try again... BUT I did draw for fun and that's good because that it rare now-a-days.

The below images are ideas for my Ad in the Directory of Illustrators... I am not sure which one to go with!

This is a recent pet illustration I did. I had a lot of fun with it! And I think I may use the background again in the future for an personal illustration..

We went to MoCCA this past weekend and it was great to be around another creative person. I really miss having her and my old Syracuse Illustration peers around to remind to keep improving, never getting too attached to work, and always accept criticism and learn from it. Being a freelance illustrator with no co-workers, other than my 4 animals (haha), can be tough. It is always so refreshing to be around people who do what I do and see art through their own creative eyes. Their feedback is priceless.
