Breaking Bad

I can't stop watching this show, AMC's 'Breaking Bad'! It's just terrific- the acting, the characters, the story, the storytelling, the originality. I haven't been inspired to draw lately except after watching the first 2 and half seasons of this show!

Summer 2011

First- my last project as a Junior in college (finished painting)

Summer 2011: So far this summer I have given up on watercolor for a while and turned to Oil. I have been primarily doing Pet Portraits. :) Most of these paintings are still wet, so the pictures are not very good. Whoops!

this is some recent work. The Wombat is a new character I came up with. He's not very well defined yet but I like him! The sketch is the first phase of a underwater painting I am doing. The the ink and red paint is a portrait of JD Salinger!

Spring Semester 2011

the assignment is to design a deck of cards, using alternate mediums- collage/photoshop.
my first attempt at collage. I found alot of the imagery on stock photos, but i took some of the pictures as well.

This painting is a COPY of a Peter De Seve painting. I changed it around a bit, but it was a study to learn how to paint a bit better. It helped me a lot, but the composition and idea belongs to Peter De Seve.
This was for an assignment where we had to illustrate a Japanese fable. Its called Urushima, I decided to illustrate it in the Japanese Manga style.
This was for a 'Two People interacting". This is one of my favorites. There really isnt any color, its the under drawing thats holding it together.
